We are delighted to say that the latest SIAMS inspection of St Nicholas has come back, and we are officially a good school with outstanding leadership.
The inspector, who examines how the Christian ethos of the school supports all aspects of school life, came to visit in June. We were so proud to show all of the hard work the staff, pupils, governors, the Vale Academy Trust, and the Church, put in to make the school the happy and successful place it is today.
The Christian ethos of the school is evident every day to the whole school community, though worship, the values of the school, and how we teach and develop the students. Our vision is ‘Life in all its fullness’ – ensuring that the whole school community get the most out of their time at St Nicholas.
St Nic’s now joins several other Church Schools in the VAT as being rated ‘Good’ by SIAMS, and we are especially proud to have Outstanding features in our leadership.
